2026 has been a season of Ducati dominance so far in BSB. That makes this year’s visit to Thruxton all the more intriguing.

In recent years, the high-speed circuit has been the one place where the Panigale V4 hasn’t quite worked. Last season, the lead Ducatis were at the back-end of the Top Ten, with Leon Haslam’s 6th-placed finish in Race Three being the best race finish.

Yamaha was able to shine, taking 8 of the 9 podium places across the three races, whilst it also proved to be a leveller for Kawasaki and Honda.

So what will Thruxton throw up for us this year?

Will Max Cook claim his first BSB win, and the first for bimota, at his home track, following on from his podium on the Kawasaki there last season?

Will Honda be competitive enough to allow Ryan Vickers’ impressive performances to be rewarded with a podium or two?

Will it be the round in which Bradley Ray is able to claw back points on the Ducati duo of Ryde and Redding?

Or will it go the other way? Is this new Ducati Panigale V4, with its double-sided swingarm, the version that finally cracks Thruxton and potentially crushes the confidence of the rest of the field?
